Microswitch — hard top setting detection — 3-door (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the hard top and soft top.

ROOF, REPAIR WORKS, Frame and tarpaulin assembly - removal for access to the repair site and installation in place.

2. Remove the top trim on the rear right side panel.

INTERIOR TRIM PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, 3-door upper luggage compartment trim panel.

3. Turn away 2 bolts of fastening of an arm for a soft top.

4. Disconnect the microswitch block and remove from the mount.



5. Remove the microswitch mounting pin, remove the microswitch.

6. Save the microswitch seal.

Installation

1. Install the microswitch seal, position the microswitch in place and secure using the pin.

2. Attach the connector block and fix in the mount.

3. Fit the soft top mounting brackets, fit the bolts and tighten them to 25 Nm.

4. Install the top trim on the rear right side panel.

5. Install the hard top and soft top.
