Non-latching switch — horn (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the airbag module from the steering wheel.

PASSIVE SAFETY SYSTEMS, REPAIR WORK, Driver airbag.

2. Release the horn switch block and wires from the steering wheel base.

3. Disconnect the connector block of the rotary current collector assembly.

4. Using a tool with wide, rounded edges, carefully remove the horn switch from the steering wheel.

5. Remembering the installation position, disconnect the 2 pads and remove the horn switch.

Installation

1. Position the horn switch next to the steering wheel and attach the chocks.

2. Carefully install the horn switch into the steering wheel.

3. Attach the connector block of the rotary current collector assembly.

4. Fix wires and a block on the basis of a steering wheel.

5. Install the airbag module in the steering wheel.
