Headlight assembly — models from 04MY (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the front bumper.

EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIRS, Front Bumper Assembly - For 2004 and up vehicles.

2. Turn away 2 bolts of fastening of an arm of a headlight and remove an arm.

3. Turn away 2 bolts and a nut of fastening of a headlight and release a headlight.



4. Disconnect the connector block from the headlight.

5. Release the clamp securing the wiring harness to the headlight and remove the headlight.

Installation

1. Install the headlight, connect the headlamp socket and install the headlight wiring harness retainer.

2. Install the headlight and tighten the nut and 2 bolts with a tightening torque of 3 Nm.

3. Install the mounting bracket and tighten the bolts with a tightening torque of 3 Nm.

4. Reinstall the front bumper.

5. Check the headlight adjustment and adjust the headlights if necessary.
