Electric heater power relay — with Td4 motor (Freelander 1)

PTC electric heater power relay - for models with Td4 engine.

Dismantling

1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.



2. Release and open the cover of the fuse block located in the engine compartment.

3. Turn away 3 nuts of fastening of the block of safety locks and remove it from hairpins.



4. Remove the fastener and then remove the electric heater power relay bracket from the studs.

5. Remove the cover from the electric heater power relay.



6. Remove the tether securing the electric heater power relay.

7. Remove the electric heater power relay.

Installation

1. Install the electric heater power relay.

2. Tie a harness that secures the electric heater power relay.

3. Close the electric heater power relay with a cover.

4. Install the electric heater power relay bracket on the studs and fix it with the fastener.

5. Install the fuse box on the studs, fit the nuts and tighten them to 8 Nm.

6. Close the fuse box cover.
