Heater control panel — for vehicles up to 2004 (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the front console.

INTERIOR PARTS, REPAIRS, Center Console - for cars up to 2004 model year.

2. Disconnect the mix flap control cable from the control handle and mix flap control lever.

3. Disconnect the control cable of the distribution flap from the control handle and the control lever of the distribution flap.

4. Disconnect electrical connectors from all switches.

5. Disconnect the backlight electrical connector.

6. Remove the heater control panel.



7. Remove the temperature controller shaft.



8. Turn off 2 screws of fastening of a regulator of frequency of rotation of the fan and remove the regulator.




9. Remove 5 switches from the heater control panel.

Installation

1. Install the switches on the heater control panel.

2. Install the fan speed controller and fasten it with screws.

3. Install the fan speed control shaft.

4. Install the heater control panel assembly.

5. Connect electrical connectors for switches and lights.

6. Connect the mix flap control cable to the control handle and mix flap control lever.

7. Connect the control cable of the distribution flap to the control handle and the control lever of the distribution flap.

8. Replace the front console.
