Dismantling
1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.
2. Turn out "positive" battery terminals electric heater wire fastening bolt.
3. Remove the electronic engine control unit from the unit, isolated from the environment ('E' box).
ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: EDC, REPAIR WORK, Engine control unit (ECM).
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the transmission control unit and the air conditioning fan sensor.
5. Release the electrical cable from the ties and remove the relay from the inner casing.
6. Release and disconnect electric sockets of the fan of the central air and connecting electroconducting.
7. Disconnect the 3 electrical cables and the rubber duct seal from the housing.
8. Release the latches and remove the fuse block cover.
9. Turn away a nut of fastening of the case of the block of management of the engine.
10. Release the housing from the brackets and remove it.
11. Turn away 3 nuts of fastening of the block of safety locks and take away the block of fuses aside.
12. Remove the electric heater cable from the engine control unit housing bracket.
13. Remove the cover from the fuse holder "positive" electric heater wires.
14. Remove the electrical connector and disconnect the electric heater cable from the engine control unit cable.
15. Unscrew from the fuse holder (for 80 amps) 2 nuts securing the electrical wire terminals and remove the terminals.
16. Release the clamp securing the electric heater cable to the engine control unit housing bracket.
17. Remove from the arm located on a partition of a motor compartment, the relay and a cable of an electric heater.
18. Remove the control panel cover.

19. Release from fastening and remove an air duct of a nozzle of an obduv of the right glass.
20. Release and remove the air box.
21. Disconnect 3 type connectors "Lucar" from the heating element of the electric heater.
22. Loosen the electrical heater cable tie-downs from the main wiring harness.
23. Remove the air intake box.

24. Release the 2 electrical heater cable fasteners from the air intake box.
25. With the help of a partner, remove 2 sealing bushings from the partition of the engine compartment and remove the electric heater cable from the car.
Installation
1. With the help of a partner, run the electric heater cable through the bulkhead of the engine compartment and insert the grommet into the bulkhead.
2. Insert the electrical heater cable clamps into the air intake box.
3. Replace the air intake duct.

4. Tie the electrical heater cable tie-downs to the main wiring harness.
5. Connect type connectors "Lucar" to the heating element of the electric heater.
6. Replace the airbox.
7. Reinstall the air duct for the right glass defrost nozzle.
8. Replace the control panel.

9. Connect the electrical heater cable connector to the engine control unit cable and then secure it.
10. Attach the electric heater cable and relay to the engine compartment bulkhead bracket.
11. Establish a collar of fastening of a cable of an electric heater to an arm of the case of the engine control unit.
12. Connect to fuse holder (for 80 amps) terminals "positive" electric heater wires. Screw on the nuts and tighten them with a torque of 7 Nm.
13. Replace the fuse cover (for 80 amps).
14. Fix on an arm of the case of the block of management of the engine a cable and the relay of an electric heater.
15. Install the fuse box. Make sure the electrical cable does not touch the suspension strut. Tighten the nuts with a torque of 10 Nm.
16. Replace the fuse box cover.
17. Fix on the brackets the housing of the unit, isolated from the influence of the environment ('E' box).
18. Install and tighten housing nuts.
19. Fasten the electrical cable and the rubber duct seal to the housing.
20. Tie the electrical cable ties and secure the relay to the housing.
21. Connect and fix sockets of connecting electroconducting and the fan of the central air.
22. Connect electric sockets of the gauge of the ventilator of a central air and the block of management of a transmission.
23. Insert the electronic engine control unit into the unit, isolated from the environment ('E' box).
ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: EDC, REPAIR WORK, Engine control unit (ECM).
24. Stretch "positive" wire of the electric heater and fix it with the bolt. Tighten the bolt with a torque of 25 Nm.
25. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
