Air intake box — removal and installation (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove both wiper arms.

WIPERS AND WASHERS, REPAIR WORK, Lever - wiper - one.

2. Turn away 6 screws of fastening of a back edge of an overlay of an air inlet.

3. Remove the air intake trim and hood seal.

NOTE: If disassembly was carried out only to provide access to other elements of the system, then further disassembly operations should not be performed.

4. Remove the air intake molding rubber seal.



5. Remove the 4 clips securing the air intake filter holders. Remove holders and filters.

Installation

1. Place the filters and holders on the air intake trim and secure with the clips.

2. Install the air intake molding rubber seal.

3. Install the air intake cover and secure it with screws.

4. Install the wiper arms.
