Dismantling
1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.
2. Remove the hydraulic booster pump drive belt.
STEERING, Steering Gear, Drive Belt (for models with K1.8 engine).
3. Turn away a basic bolt and a nut of the generator.
4. Turn away a bolt of fastening of an adjusting arm to the engine.
5. Turn away a bolt of fastening of the generator to an adjusting arm.
6. Turning the adjusting bolt in the direction of the corresponding movement counterclockwise, loosen the tensioner and remove the belt.
Installation
1. Make sure the transmission pulleys are not damaged or dirty.
CAUTION: Check the condition of the belt for wear. Cracks in the side of the belt are not damage. A drive belt that has lost or missing parts must be replaced.
2. Install the drive belt. Make sure the belt is correctly positioned in the pulley grooves.
3. Belt tension adjustment.

4. Install the hydraulic booster pump drive belt.
STEERING, Steering Gear, Drive Belt (for models with K1.8 engine).
5. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
