Dismantling
1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.
2. Remove the front console.

3. Loosen the cable tie bolt.
4. Disconnect the cable from the ignition lock mechanism.
5. Remove the key from the ignition lock.
6. Remove the top and bottom parts of a casing of a steering column.

7. Turn away a bolt of fastening of the lever of adjustment of an inclination of a steering column and remove the lever.
NOTE: This thread is left handed.
8. Turn away a nut of a coupling bolt of the adjusting mechanism and take out a bolt.
9. Save the plastic stopper.
10. Loosen the fastening and disconnect the cable from the steering wheel lock mechanism.
11. Release the cable from the 2 clamps.
12. Remember the location of the cable, run the cable under the heater and the steering shaft mounting bracket.
13. Remove the cable.
Installation
1. Install the cable, align its position relative to the heater and the steering shaft mounting bracket and fasten it to the clamps.
2. Connect the ignition lock cable to the steering column and tighten its fastening with a torque of 4 Nm.
3. Fit the adjuster pinch bolt and tighten the nut to a torque of 10 Nm. Make sure the bolt and plastic stopper are correctly positioned in the steering shaft mounting bracket hole.
4. Install the steering column tilt adjustment lever and tighten the bolt with a torque of 12 N·m. Before tightening the bolt, turn the lever to its highest position. Hold the tie bolt nut to prevent it from turning.
5. Connect the cable to the ignition lock mechanism.
6. Check the ignition lock cable adjustment.

7. Establish the top and bottom parts of a casing of a steering column.

8. Replace the front console.

9. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
