Dismantling
1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.
2. Raise the front of the vehicle.
WARNING: Do not work under a vehicle that is only supported by a jack. Always install safety props.
3. Remove the front wheel.
4. Remove the lower engine protection.

5. Turn away 3 bolts of fastening of the right dirt-protective panel and remove the panel.
6. Loosen the hub nut on the outer pivot housing.
7. With the help of a partner holding the brake pedal depressed, unscrew and discard the nut.
8. Remove the brake hose retainer and release the hose from the shock absorber strut bracket.
9. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor harness and brake hose from the shock absorber.
10. Release the wheel speed sensor from the hub.
11. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a support to a nave. Remove the caliper from the support and secure to the side.
CAUTION: Do not let the caliper hang on the brake hose.
12. Turn away 2 bolts of fastening of an arm of a rack of the shock-absorber to a rotary fist.
13. Disconnect the hub from the shock absorber.
14. Remove the drive shaft from the hub.
15. Install a container to collect the oil.
16. Install tool LRT-54-026 on the drive shaft inner joint. Using the lever, release the drive shaft from the gearbox.
17. Remove the drive shaft.
CAUTION: When removing the drive shaft, be careful not to damage the oil seal.
18. Remove and discard the drive shaft retaining ring.
Installation
1. Check the gearbox oil seal for wear or damage.
2. Wipe the ends of the drive shaft, gearbox oil seal and hub.
3. Lubricate oil seal lips.
4. Install a new circlip on the end of the drive shaft.
5. Install the end of the drive shaft into the differential ensuring that the circlip is fully engaged.
CAUTION: When installing the drive shaft, be careful not to damage the gearbox oil seal.
6. Place the end of the drive shaft into the hub.
7. Fit a new nut, but do not completely tighten it.
8. Insert the steering knuckle of the hub into the shock absorber strut bracket, insert the bolts, fit the nuts and tighten them to a torque of 205 Nm.
9. Install the caliper on the brake disc, screw in the bolts and tighten them to 100 Nm.
10. Wipe the wheel speed sensor and mating surfaces.
11. Lubricate the wheel speed sensor with anti-seize lubricant.
12. Install the wheel speed sensor.
ATTENTION: Check that the sensor is fully inserted into the hub and touches the inductive ring.
13. Insert the sensor harness and brake hose into the bracket and secure with a clamp.
14. Install the mudguard panel and secure it with bolts.
15. Tighten the front hub nut to 400 Nm.
16. Cotter the nut.
17. Replace the wheel (wheels) and tighten the nuts to a torque of 115 Nm.
18. Check the oil level in the box and top up if necessary.
MAINTENANCE, MAINTENANCE, Intermediate final drive (IRD) - for vehicles not supplied to the USA and Canada.
19. Reinstall the lower engine guard.

20. Remove props and lower the car.
21. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
