Ventilation hatch in the roof of a 5-door car (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove an upholstery of a ceiling of salon.

INTERIOR TRIM PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, 5-door ceiling panel.

2. Disconnect the drainage pipes from the sunroof.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sunroof motor reducer.

4. With the help of a partner, unscrew the 6 nuts and 2 hatch mounting bolts.

5. Remove the sunroof.

Installation

1. Make sure the plastic gasket and gutter seal are in place.

2. With the help of a partner, install the hatch assembly, wrap and tighten the nuts and bolts of its fastening.

3. Connect an electric socket of the electric drive of the hatch.

4. Connect the drainage pipes to the hatch and secure them with clamps.

5. Establish an upholstery of a ceiling of salon.
