Upholstery of a back of a back left seat (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Fold the rear left seat forward.



2. Loosen 5 screws and remove both seat belt anchor covers.

3. Turn away 3 bolts of fastening of a back of a seat to a pillow and remove a back from a pillow.

4. Remove the head restraint.



5. Release the upholstery from attachment to the bottom and sides of the frame.

6. Remove the padlock, and then remove the rear frame upholstery.

7. Release the back of the upholstery from its attachment to the frame.

8. Remove guides of both bars of a head restraint.

9. Remove the backrest upholstery and soft padding from the seatback frame.



10. Remove and discard the 9 upholstery retaining rings and remove the upholstery from the padding.

Installation

1. Attach the lock pad to the rear upholstery and install them on the frame. Make sure that the lock pad is properly secured in the lock body.

2. Place the upholstery on the padding and secure it with the rings.

3. Install the backrest upholstery and cushion to the seatback frame.

4. Install the headrest rod guides.

5. Fasten the bottom and sides of the upholstery to the frame.

6. Fasten the back of the upholstery to the frame.

7. Install the head restraint.

8. Align the seat cushion and backrest and tighten the Torx bolts to 28 Nm.

9. Install the side plates and tighten the screws for their fastening.

10. Fix a back of a back seat by means of locks.
