Rear roof section assembly — 3-door version (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.

2. Disconnect the generator.

3. Disconnect all electronic units.

4. Remove the canopy/hard top.

5. Remove the left and right rear headlining trim strips.

6. Remove an upholstery of a ceiling of salon.

INTERIOR TRIM PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, 3-door headliner.

7. Remove the sunroof.

VENTILATION SUNROOF, REPAIR WORKS, Ventilation hatch in the roof of a 3-door car.

8. Remove the antenna.

ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS, REPAIRS, Antenna - mechanical - 3-door models.

Repair work

1. Remove damaged panels, prepare joint edges and install new panels in accordance with the Body Panel Repair Code. When performing this operation, plug welding is not used, only spot welding is used.

Installation

1. Install the antenna.

2. Install the sunroof.

3. Establish an upholstery of a ceiling of salon.

4. Install the left and right rear headlining trim strips.

5. Install the canopy/hard top.

6. Connect all electronic units.

7. Attach the generator.

8. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
