Dismantling

1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.

2. Disconnect the generator.

3. Disconnect all electronic units.

4. Remove the tailgate.

5. Remove the luggage compartment door seal.

6. Remove the left and right lower linings of a back part of a body.

7. Remove the luggage compartment mat.

8. Release the wiring harness from the bottom of the luggage compartment door opening and move them aside.

Repair work

1. Remove damaged panels, prepare joint edges and install new panels in accordance with the Body Panel Repair Code. Punch or drill holes in the panel to be installed for the cork weld as shown.

Installation

1. Fix the wires passing through the bottom of the luggage compartment door opening.

2. Lay and secure the luggage compartment mat.

3. Establish the left and right lower linings of a back part of a body.

4. Install the luggage compartment door seal.

5. Install the tailgate.

6. Connect all electronic units.

7. Attach the generator.

8. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
