Seat belt buckle left rear seat 5-door car (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Fold the rear seat forward.



2. Remove the 3 seat back hinge cover screws and remove the cover from the seat back hinge.

3. Turn away 4 bolts of fastening of a latch of a back of a seat and remove a latch in gathering.

4. Turn away a bolt Torx fastenings of the lock of a seat belt and remove the lock.

Installation

1. Install the seat belt buckle on the latch and tighten the Torx bolt to 32 Nm.

2. Install the latch assembly to the seat and tighten the Torx bolts.

3. Install the latch assembly to the seat, install the Torx bolts but do not fully tighten them yet.

4. Fold down the rear seatback and make sure it returns correctly and locks into its original position. Adjust latch if necessary.

5. Tighten the latch mounting Torx bolts to 32 Nm.

6. Check again by folding the seat and returning it to its original position.

7. Install the cover and tighten the screws to secure it.

8. Replace the rear seat.
