5-door luggage compartment lower decorative panel (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Release the rear seat back and tilt the seat forward.

2. Remove the Torx bolt from the lower rear seat belt attachment point to the body and move the belt to the side.

3. Remove a plafond of illumination of a luggage space from the decorative panel.

4. Disconnect 2 type electrical connectors "Lucar" and remove the luggage compartment light.

5. Turn away 2 screws of fastening of the decorative panel to levels of fastening of a floor covering of a luggage space.

6. Unscrew the 4 screw ties securing the decorative panel.

7. Release the decorative panel from the 5 clips.

8. Remove the side decorative panel of the luggage compartment.



9. Remove the 5 fasteners from the decorative panel.

Installation

1. Insert the fasteners into the decorative panel.

2. Install the decorative panel in the luggage compartment and secure it to the clips.

3. Install the turnbuckles.

4. Tighten the screws that secure the decorative panel to the flooring fixing bracket.

5. Attach the luggage compartment light to the decorative panel, connect the electrical connectors of the type "Lucar" and fix the lampshade on the decorative panel.

6. Install the luggage cover retainer and secure it with the screw.

7. Install the luggage cover and secure it to the clips.

8. Establish a back seat belt and tighten a bolt of its fastening with the moment of 40 Nanometers.

9. Replace the rear seat.
