3-door luggage compartment lower decorative panel (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. 2003 model year vehicles: Remove the rear side trim panel.

INTERIOR TRIM PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, 3-door rear side decorative panel.

2. Release the rear seat back and tilt the seat forward.



3. Remove a plafond of illumination of a luggage space from the decorative panel.

4. Disconnect 2 type electrical connectors "Lucar" and remove the luggage compartment light.

5. Remove the 6 Torx screws securing the luggage compartment flooring mounting plate.

6. Remove the floor fixing strip.

7. Unscrew the 4 screw ties securing the decorative panel.

8. Release and take out the decorative panel from a luggage space.

Installation

1. Install the decorative panel in the luggage compartment and secure it with the screw ties.

2. Install the luggage compartment floor mounting plate and secure it with the Torx screws.

3. Attach the luggage compartment light to the decorative panel, connect the electrical connectors of the type "Lucar" and fix the lampshade on the decorative panel.

4. Return the seat to its original position.
