Rear of the rear wheel arch extension (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Raise the rear of the vehicle.

2. Remove the wheel (wheels).



3. 5-door models: Remove the 2 screws securing the flare to the corner of the wheel arch.

4. 5-door models: Remove the wheel arch extension from the 2 studs.

5. 5-door models: Remove the clips from the wheel arch extension.



6. 3-Door Models: Remove the 6 self-tapping screws securing the flare to the wheel arch corner and lower truss bar panel.

7. 3-door models: Remove the wheel arch extension from the 8 studs.

8. 3-door models: Remove the clips from the wheel arch extension.

Installation

1. Install the clips on the wheel arch extension.

2. Install the wheel arch extension on the studs.

3. Wrap screws of fastening of an expander to a wheel arch.

4. Replace the wheel (wheels) and tighten the nuts to a torque of 115 Nm.

5. Remove props and lower the car.
