Rear door plastic lining (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the speaker from the rear door.

ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS, REPAIRS, Speaker - rear - 5 door models.

2. Remove the 7 bezel pins, 2 door handle screws, and 4 speaker screws, making note of their location.

3. Remove and discard plastic trim.

Installation

1. Clean with white spirit the place where the lining is attached to the door.

2. Install a NEW plastic trim on the door. Glue the overlay. To do this, first press its lower central part with your hands. Then smooth the overlay from this point, pressing it evenly in both directions with your hands and removing any wrinkles that appear.

ATTENTION: It is very important to ensure that there are no wrinkles at the base of the plastic lining.

3. Install the pin and screw fasteners of the decorative panel on the door.

4. Install the speaker on the tailgate.
