5-door car front door plastic trim (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the speaker from the front door.

2. Remove 5 door pocket clips.

3. Remove the 2 screws securing the outer handle. For 2004 model year vehicles: Remove one more screw.

4. Remove and discard plastic trim.

Installation

1. Clean with white spirit the place where the lining is attached to the door.

2. Install a NEW plastic trim on the door. Glue the overlay. To do this, first press its lower central part with your hands. Then smooth the overlay from this point, pressing it evenly in both directions with your hands and removing any wrinkles that appear.

ATTENTION: It is very important to ensure that there are no wrinkles at the base of the plastic pad.

3. Install and secure the handle and pocket retainers.

4. Install the speaker on the door.
