Tailgate release handle (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the plastic trim on the door panel.

DOORS, Removal of the front door assembly to provide access to other elements, installation of the front door, Rear door plastic trim.

2. Disconnect the cable from the handle.

3. Drill out 2 rivets securing the inner door handle.

4. Remove the handle.

Installation

1. Connect the cable to the inside door handle.

2. Install the handle on the door and secure it with rivets.

3. Install the plastic trim on the door panel.
