Rear door glass (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the plastic trim on the door panel.

2. Lower the glass to provide access to the nuts securing the glass to the brackets.

3. Loosen the nuts securing the glass to the brackets.

4. Remove the window seal from the door.

5. Take out glass from a sealant of back small glass.

6. Raise the glass and remove it from the door.

Assembly

1. Install the glass on the door and insert it into the small rear window seal.

2. Replace the window seal.

3. Install the glass on the brackets and tighten the nuts with a torque of 8 Nm.

4. Raise and lower the glass to check that the seal is installed correctly.

5. Install the plastic trim on the door panel.
