Front door glass (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the plastic trim on the front door panel.

2. Remove the 4 screws securing the speaker to the door.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the door speaker.

4. Remove the speaker from the front door.



5. Lower the glass to provide access to the bolts securing the glass to the brackets.

6. Loosen the 2 bolts securing the glass to the brackets.



7. Take out glass from brackets. Raise the glass and turn it so that it is removed from the window opening.

Assembly

1. Push the glass into the window opening and turn it so that it fits into the seals and brackets.

2. Tighten the bolts securing the glass to the brackets with a torque of 9 Nm.

3. Raise and lower the window to check the operation of the power window.

4. Bring the speaker to the door and connect the electrical connector to it.

5. Install the speaker in the door and fix with screws.

6. Install the plastic trim on the door panel.
