General information
The main fuel system components of the TdV6 engine include the fuel tank, fuel pump module, fuel filter, fuel cooler, filler cap assembly, and two fuel gauges.
The fuel system of the TdV6 engine is a common rail high pressure injection system. This system uses an engine-mounted and driven high-pressure pump that delivers fuel at a constant pressure to a common-discharge fuel manifold where it is distributed to all injectors.
