Throttle Body Gasket (Discovery 3)

Removing

1. Disconnect a wire of weight from the accumulator. For more information refer to Specification.

2. Remove the engine cover. For more information refer to Engine Cover - 4.0L (12.30.50)

3. Remove the air intake resonator. For more information refer to Air Intake Resonator (19.70.03)

4. Remove the throttle body.

• Turn out 4 bolts.
• Remove the throttle body gasket and discard it as no longer needed.

Installation

1. Install the throttle body.

• Clear the details.
• Install a new gasket.
• Tighten 4 bolts (tightening torque 10 Nm).

2. Install the air intake resonator. For more information refer to Air Intake Resonator (19.70.03)

3. Install the engine cover. For more information refer to Engine Cover - 4.0L (12.30.50)

4. Connect a wire of weight to the storage battery. For more information refer to Specification.
