1. Disconnect a wire of weight from the storage battery.
2. Remove the engine cover. Engine cover - 4.0L (12.30.50)
3. Release the clamp and disconnect the purge line.
4. Remove the fuel rail Schrader valve cap.
5. Install the special tool on the Schrader valve on the fuel rail.
6. Connect the purge line.

CAUTION: Some fuel will inevitably spill during this operation. Ensure that all necessary precautions have been taken to prevent fire and explosion.
Start the engine and let it run.
- Open the valve on the special tool.
- Record the fuel pressure reading.
9. Close the valve on the special tool.
10. Release the clamp and disconnect the purge line.
11. Disconnect the special tool from the Schrader valve.
12. Place the cap on the Schrader valve.
13. Connect the purge line.
14. Install the engine cover. Engine cover - 4.0L (12.30.50)
15. Connect a wire of weight to the storage battery.
