Removing
1. Disconnect the wire "masses" from the battery. For more information refer to Specification.
2. Remove the engine cover. For more information refer to Engine Cover - 2.7L Diesel (12.30.50)
3. Disconnect the three electrical connectors. Release the fuel line check valve.
4. Turn out a bolt of fastening of an elbow branch pipe of the air gate of the air intake channel.
5. Loosen the air intake damper elbow. Turn out a hairpin of fastening of an elbow branch pipe of the air gate of the air intake channel.
6. Loosen the left EGR valve outlet tube clamp.
7. Release the clamp on the right EGR valve outlet pipe.
8. Rearrange the air damper of the air intake channel.
9. Remove the air damper of the air intake channel.

NOTE: Do not disassemble further if this component is removed for access only.
Remove and discard o-rings.
Installation

CAUTION: O-rings can be reused if they are not damaged.
Install the air intake damper.
2. Align the air intake damper.
3. Install the right EGR valve outlet pipe.
4. Install the left EGR valve outlet pipe.
5. Attach the air intake air damper elbow. Tighten the air intake air damper elbow stud (tightening torque 10 Nm).
6. Tighten the bolt of the elbow of the air damper of the air intake channel (tightening torque 10 Nm).
7. Connect 3 electrical connectors. Install the fuel line check valve.
8. Install the engine cover. For more information refer to Engine Cover - 2.7L Diesel (12.30.50)
9. Connect the wire "masses" to the battery. For more information refer to Specification.
