Removing
1. Disconnect the wire "masses" from the battery. For more information refer to Specification.
2.
WARNING: It is forbidden to carry out work on a vehicle standing on only one jack. Always support the vehicle with jack stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the motor protection. For more information refer to Motor Protection (76.10.50)
4. Remove a transverse beam of a transmission. For more information, refer to Transmission Crossmember (76.10.09 or 76.10.92)
5. Release the left front heated oxygen sensor harness. Disconnect the electrical connector.
6. Release the right front heated oxygen sensor harness. Disconnect the electrical connector.
7. Release the left rear heated oxygen sensor harness. Disconnect the electrical connector.
8. Release the right rear heated oxygen sensor harness. Disconnect the electrical connector.
9. Disconnect the left catalytic converter from a final collector. Loosen and discard 2 bolts.
10. Disconnect the right catalytic converter from a final collector. Loosen and discard 2 bolts.
11. With assistance, remove the exhaust system. Disconnect 5 exhaust pipe fasteners.

NOTE: Do not proceed with further disassembly if the part is being removed only for access.
Using the special tool, remove the four heated oxygen sensors from the catalytic converters.
Installation
1.
CAUTION: Do not apply anti-seize compound to the tip of the heated oxygen sensor.
Using the special tool, install the heated oxygen sensors to the catalytic converters and tighten (tightening torque 45 Nm).
- Clear the details.
- Coat the threaded portion of the heated oxygen sensor with an anti-seize compound.
3. Connect the right catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold.
- Clear the details.
- Tighten new bolts (tightening torque 22 Nm)
WARNING: Make sure the distance (A) between the nearest surfaces of the left catalytic converter and the front drive shaft is 25-30 mm.
Connect the left catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold.
- Clear the details.
- Tighten new bolts (tightening torque 22 Nm).
5.
CAUTION: Make sure the heated oxygen sensor harness is not bent more than 180 degrees and is not touching the exhaust manifold and drive shaft.
Connect the heated oxygen sensor electrical connectors. Connect the heated oxygen sensor harness.
6. Establish a cross beam of a transmission. For more information, refer to Transmission Crossmember (76.10.09 or 76.10.92)
7. Install motor protection. For more information refer to Motor Protection (76.10.50)
8. Connect the wire "masses" to the battery. For more information refer to Specification.
