Removing

1. Disconnect a wire of weight from the storage battery. For more information refer to Specification.

2. Remove the cooling fan shroud. For more information refer to Cooling Fan Shroud (26.25.11)

3. Disconnect the cooling fan electrical connector.

NOTE: The part has a right hand thread.

Remove the cooling fan using special tools. Remove the cooling fan assembly.

NOTE: Do not proceed with further disassembly if the part is being removed only for access.

Remove the viscous coupling from the cooling fan. Turn out 4 bolts.

Installation

1. Reinstall the parts in reverse order.

• Install the cooling fan on the viscous coupling and tighten the bolts (tightening torque 10 Nm).
• Tighten cooling fan assembly (tightening torque 65 Nm).
