Removing

1. Disconnect the wire "masses" from the battery. For more information refer to Specification.

2. Remove the air filter assembly. For more information refer to Air Filter (19.10.01)

3. Remove the cooling fan shroud.

• Remove the coolant hose.
• Release 3 clips.

NOTE: The part has a left hand thread.

Remove the cooling fan assembly.

• Disconnect the electrical connector.
• Use special tools.

NOTE: Do not proceed with further disassembly if the part is being removed only for access.

Remove the viscous coupling. Turn out 4 bolts.

Installation

1. Install the viscous coupling.

• Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.
• Tighten the bolts (tightening torque 10 Nm).

2. Install the cooling fan assembly.

• Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.
• Tighten cooling fan assembly (tightening torque 65 Nm). Connect the electrical connector.

3. Install the cooling fan shroud.

4. Install the air filter assembly. For more information refer to Air Filter (19.10.01)

5. Connect the wire "masses" to the battery. For more information refer to Specification.
