The cylinder block has "closed" V-shaped design for high internal rigidity and low vibration. Small cooling jacket volume reduces warm-up time and piston noise the longitudinal direction of the channels of the cooling jacket with one hole in the cylinder head for supplying coolant in each bank increases rigidity and improves the fit of the cylinder head gasket. The right row of cylinders has an index "A" (cylinders 1 to 4), and the left rad of cylinders is the index "IN" (cylinders 5 to 8).
