Removing

1. Disconnect a wire of weight from the storage battery.

2. Remove the accessory drive belt.

3. Block the crankshaft front pulley using the special tool.

NOTE: The crankshaft pulley bolt is too tight.

Turn out a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft. Discard the bolt.



5. Using the special tools, remove the crankshaft pulley.

• Remove the puck.
• Remove special tools.

6. Using the special tool, remove the crankshaft front oil seal.



7. Inspect the crankshaft damping clutch pulley and washer for damage.

Installation

1. Clean all contact surfaces of the crankshaft pulley.

2. Using the special tool, install the crankshaft front oil seal. Lubricate the seal with clean engine oil.



3. Using the special tool, install the crankshaft pulley.

• Lubricate the seal with clean engine oil.
• Remove the special tool.

CAUTION: Before installing a new crankshaft pulley bolt, the threads in the crankshaft pulley must be cleaned.

Install a new crankshaft pulley bolt, but do not tighten it.

5. Tighten the crankshaft pulley bolt.

• Install the special tool.
• tighten bolt (tightening torque 45 Nm).
• Tighten the bolt another 85 degrees.
• Remove the special tool.

6. Install the accessory drive belt.

7. Connect a wire of weight to the storage battery.
