Left engine mount (Discovery 3)

Removing

1. Disconnect the wire "masses" from the battery. For more information refer to Specification.

2. Remove the turbocharger. For more information refer to Turbocharger (19.42.01)

WARNING: During this operation it is necessary to protect the engine.

Support the engine. Raise the engine from the left support.

4. Remove the engine support.

• Loosen the nut.
• Raise the engine from the left support.
• Remove two bolts and discard.

Installation

1. Install the engine mount.

• Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.
• Screw in new bolts.
• Tighten the bolts (tightening torque 45 Nm), then another 60 degrees.

WARNING: During this operation it is necessary to protect the engine.

Lower the engine onto a stand.

3. Insert a bolt of fastening of a support of the engine. tighten the nut (tightening torque 90 Nm).

4. Install the turbocharger. For more information refer to Turbocharger (19.42.01)

5. Connect a wire of weight to the storage battery. For more information refer to Specification.
