Removing

1. Disconnect a wire of weight from the storage battery. For more information refer to Specification.

2. WARNING: It is forbidden to carry out work on a vehicle standing on only one jack. Always support the vehicle with jack stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.

3. Remove a transmission. For more information refer to Gearbox (44.20.01)

4. Remove the flexible torque converter plate.

• Block the elastic plate with a special tool.
• Remove 8 Torx head screws.

Installation

1.

CAUTION: Tighten the bolts in a criss-cross pattern.

Install the torque converter flexible plate.

• Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.
• Block the elastic plate with a special tool.
• Tighten the Torx head bolts in 3 steps.
• Tighten Torx Head Bolts (tightening torque 50 Nm).
• Tighten the Torx head bolts 45 degrees.
• Tighten the Torx head bolts an additional 45 degrees.

2. Install the gearbox. For more information refer to Gearbox (44.20.01)

3. Connect the wire "masses" to the battery. For more information refer to Specification.
