Removing
CAUTION: Brake fluid, if it comes into contact with the paintwork, may damage it. If coolant is spilled, remove it immediately and flush the area with water.
1. Remove the decorative panel from the driver's side.
- Release the clamp.
- Remove 2 screws.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Release the clutch master cylinder yoke pin. Remove the clamp.
3. Remove the spring assisted clutch pedal mechanism.

CAUTION: Before you start to disconnect or remove parts, make sure that the area around the contact surfaces and connections is clean. Plug all open connections to prevent contamination of the system.
Remove the clutch master cylinder.
- Place a container to collect liquid.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Turn out 2 bolts.
- Remove the clamp.
5. Remove the clutch master cylinder. Disconnect the fluid supply line and discard the O-ring.
Installation
1. Install the clutch master cylinder.
- Connect the fluid supply line with a new seal.
- Install the clamp.
- Tighten the bolts with tightening torques of 10 Nm.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Remove container.
3. Fasten the fork pin. Install the clamp.
4. Install the decorative panel.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Fasten the clamp.
- Tighten the screws.
6. Remove air from the clutch system. For more information, refer to Bleeding the Clutch System.
