Drive belt tensioner 2.7L (Discovery 3)

Removing

1. Disconnect the wire "masses" from the battery. For more information refer to Specification.

2. Remove the accessory drive belt. For more information refer to Drive Belt Accessories (86.10.03)

3. Remove the accessory drive belt tensioner. Turn out a bolt.



4. Remove the accessory belt tensioner pulley. Remove the Tox bolt.

Installation

1. Install the accessory belt tensioner.

• Clear the details.
• tighten bolt (tightening torque 25 Nm).

2. Install the accessory belt tensioner.

• Clear the details.
• tighten bolt (tightening torque 45 Nm).

3. Put on the accessory drive belt. For more information refer to Drive Belt Accessories (86.10.03)
