Location and decoding of the VIN number of the car (Discovery 3)

The VIN number is listed in three places:

1. It is stamped on the side surface of the right longitudinal beam behind the front support of the body.
2. At the bottom of the windshield on the left side of the car, as viewed from the outside.
3. United Kingdom, Europe and other countries - except USA and Canada - On the VIN number plate affixed to the hood latch platform.
4. USA and Canada - On the tire rating/size label on the front side of the left B-pillar.
