In some countries, legislation prohibits the installation on a vehicle of parts that do not meet the manufacturer's specifications. Tightening torques should be adhered to where specified and locking devices should be used where necessary. If, when removing the blocking device, the effectiveness of its operation was impaired, then the device should be replaced.
Vehicle owners who purchase accessories while traveling overseas should ensure that the accessories and where they are installed on the vehicle comply with legal requirements.
Fitting parts other than those recommended by Land Rover to your vehicle may void your vehicle warranty.
NOTE: The installation of parts and accessories other than those approved by Land Rover, or unauthorized modifications or conversions, may be hazardous. Any of the above actions may adversely affect the safety of the vehicle, the driver and passengers, as well as void the warranty on the vehicle.
All Land Rover recommended parts are fully covered by the vehicle warranty.
Land Rover Dealers are required to supply only those parts recommended by Land Rover.
