Accessory drive belt

1. Check the condition of the accessory drive belt.

2. Remove all traces of dirt from the drive belt and pulleys.

3. Check the belt for splits and signs of wear.

WARNING: For heavy duty vehicles, the following maintenance operations must be carried out every 5 years or 120,000 km.

4. Every 7 years or 168,000 km - 4.0L engines: Replace the accessory drive belt. For more information refer to Accessory Drive Belt (303-05 Accessory Drive - 4.0L).

5. Every 10 years or 240,000 km - 4.4L engines: Replace the accessory drive belt. For more information refer to Accessory Drive Belt (303-05 Accessory Drive - 4.4L).
