Accessory drive belt

1. Check the condition of the accessory drive belt.

2. Remove all traces of dirt from the drive belt and pulleys.

3. Check the belt for splits and signs of wear.

WARNING: For heavy duty vehicles, the next maintenance operation must be carried out every 3 years or 72,000 km.

Every 7 years or 168,000 km: Replace the accessory drive belt. For more information refer to Accessory Drive Belt (303-05 Accessory Drive - 2.7L Diesel).

Timing belt and injection pump drive belt

WARNING: For heavy duty vehicles, the next maintenance operation must be performed every 4 years or 96,000 km.

Every 7 years or 168,000 km: Replace the timing belt. For more information refer to Timing Belt (303-01 Engine - 2.7L Diesel) Replace high pressure fuel pump drive belt.
