Towing eyelets
WARNING: The single towing eyelets at the front of the vehicle are for towing the vehicle in the event of a malfunction and MUST NOT be used to tow a trailer or motorhome.
To gain access to the front towing eye, you need to open the 9 lever locks that secure the towing eye panel and remove the panel itself.
WARNING: Make sure that the towing device does not touch the bumper when towing.
To access the rear towing eye "A", it is necessary to open the two locks that secure the towing eye panel to the bumper and remove the panel itself.
CAUTION: The towing eyes should only be used to tow another vehicle or to place the vehicle in a position where the front towing eye can be used to tow it.
Four wheel towing
WARNING: It is FORBIDDEN to tow a vehicle with one axle raised. If it is not possible to tow the vehicle on four wheels, the vehicle must be transported on a trailer designed for this purpose.
WARNING: Vehicle towing is allowed for no more than 3 hours or 90 miles (150 km) with a maximum speed of 30 mph (50 km/h). DO NOT violate these restrictions.
CAUTION: Perform the following procedures to ensure that the vehicle is safely towed and that there is no chance of damage to the transmission.
1. Remove the front towing eye panel.
2. Attach the tractor's towing device to the towing eye.
WARNING: Make sure that the towing device does not touch the bumper when towing.
3. Apply the parking brake.
4. Insert the ignition key and turn the ignition switch to position II.
5. Manual transmission: Depress the brake pedal and move the transmission lever to the "N" (NEUTRAL).

7. Move the transfer case to "H" (upper range).
WARNING: If the electrical system is not working and the transfer case cannot be put into "H", the car should be towed not on wheels but on a trailer. If, at the time of the power failure, the transfer case was in the "H", then you are allowed to tow your vehicle.
8. Release the parking brake.
NOTE: In the event of a power failure, manual release of the parking brake requires the following steps:
NOTE: LHD vehicle shown; on a right-hand drive vehicle, a similar device is located on the opposite side of the center console.
9. Remove the storage compartment from the center console
10. Remove the access panel from the center console.
11. Locate the parking brake release link, insert a suitable tool into the lug and pull the link towards you to release the parking brake.
WARNING: The electric parking brake will not operate until power is restored, so it will be necessary to block the vehicle's wheels from rolling when the vehicle is parked.
WARNING: Do not release the parking brake before towing. During towing, do not attempt to remove the key from the ignition or turn it to any position other than II. When the engine is off, the power steering and brake booster do not work, which requires additional effort when turning the steering wheel and depressing the brake pedal.
WARNING: Use the vehicle's towing devices only in normal road conditions. Do not use the vehicle's towing devices to tow the vehicle "jerk".
Finished towing on four wheels
1. Apply the parking brake; if there is no power, securely block the wheels from rolling.
2. Detach the towing device from the towing eye.
3. Replace the panel and close the two lever locks.
Trailer transport
ATTENTION: Use only the front and rear towing eyes, DO NOT hook the fasteners to any other parts of the car.
With the vehicle in place, apply the parking brake and move the manual or automatic transmission selector lever to the "N" (neutral gear).
ATTENTION: If there is no power supply and the parking brake has been released, it will not be possible to re-apply it. Therefore, in order to prevent the car from moving, it is necessary to block the wheels of the car from rolling, for which the first gear should be engaged on the manual gearbox, and the mode should be selected on the automatic gearbox "R" (parking).
