Rear light assembly (Discovery 3)

Removing

1. Open tailgate and tailgate.

WARNING: When dismantling the outer parts, always protect the paintwork and glass from damage.

Remove the rear light assembly.

• Remove two screws.
• Release 2 clips.
• Disconnect the electrical connector.

NOTE: If the disassembly was done only to provide access to other components, then no further disassembly operations should be performed.

NOTE: Remember the position of the part.

Remove the wiring harness.

• Release the wiring harness from the 2 clips.
• Free 6 lamp sockets.
• Release the electrical connector.

Installation

1. Install the wiring harness.

• Install 6 lamp sockets.
• Install the electrical connector.
• Attach the wiring harness to the clamps.

2. Install the tail light assembly.

• Connect the electrical connector.
• Secure with two clips.
• Tighten the screws.

3. Close the tailgate.
