Removing and installing the audio block (Discovery 3)

Removing

ATTENTION: The new audio unit comes with the shipping plate installed. Before installing the audio unit, the shipping plate must be removed.

1. Remove the instrument panel console. For more information refer to Dashboard Console (76.25.03)

2. Remove the climate control control panel. Remove 4 Torx bolts.

3. Remove the audio block.

Remove 4 Torx bolts.
Disconnect 2 electrical connectors.
Disconnect the antenna cable.

Installation

ATTENTION: The new audio unit comes with the shipping plate installed. Before installing the audio unit, the shipping plate must be removed.

Install the audio block.

Connect the antenna cable.
Connect electrical connectors.
Tighten the Torx screws.

2. Install the climate control system control panel. Tighten the Torx screws.

3. Install the instrument panel console. For more information refer to Dashboard Console (76.25.03)

4. Configure the new audio block using T4.
