Anti-theft antenna (Discovery 3)

Removing

1. Disconnect the wire "masses" from the battery. For more information refer to Specification.

2. Remove the right upper pillar trim panel "A". For more information refer to 'A' Pillar Trim Panel (76.13.26)

3. Remove the right upper pillar trim panel "IN". For more information, refer to Top Trim Panel (76.13.28)

4. Remove the right upper pillar trim panel "WITH". For more information, refer to Top Trim Panel (76.13.35)

5. Remove the right sun visor.

• Remove the screw covers.
• Remove 2 screws.
• Loosen and disconnect the electrical connector.

6. Remove the sun visor retainer.

• Remove the screw cover.
• Remove the screw.

7. Remove the right passenger handrails.

• Carefully loosen the 6 screw covers.
• Remove 6 screws.

8. Release a ceiling upholstery of the right part of a roof. Release 6 clips.




9. Remove the anti-theft alarm antenna.

• Disconnect the electrical connector.
• Turn out 2 bolts.

Installation

1. Install the anti-theft alarm antenna.

• Connect the electrical connector.
• Tighten the bolts (tightening torque 10 Nm).

2. Attach the headlining to the right side of the roof. Fasten the clips carefully.

3. Establish the right passenger hand-rails.

• Screw in the screws.
• Install the screw covers.

4. Install the sun visor mounting clip.

• Install the screw.
• Install the screw cover.

5. Install the right sun visor.

• Connect and fix the electrical connector.
• Screw in the screws.
• Install the screw covers.

6. Install the right upper pillar trim panel "WITH". For more information, refer to Top Trim Panel (76.13.35)

7. Install the right upper pillar trim panel "IN". For more information, refer to Top Trim Panel (76.13.28)

8. Install the left upper pillar trim panel "A". For more information refer to 'A' Pillar Trim Panel (76.13.26)

9. Connect the wire "masses" to the battery. For more information refer to Specification.
