Navigation amplifier (Discovery 3)

Removing

NOTE: The Navigation System Traffic Antenna Booster is located on the left side of the lift-down tailgate. The best station tuning amplifier is located on the right side of the lift-up tailgate. The work order is the same for both components.

1. Remove the upper tailgate trim panel. Release 4 clips.

2. Remove the traffic announcement antenna of the navigation system.

Disconnect 2 antenna cables.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Remove the Torx head bolt.
Release the clamp.

Installation

1. Install the traffic announcement antenna of the navigation system.

Fasten the clamp.
Tighten Torx Head Bolt (tightening torque 10 Nm).
Connect the electrical connector.
Connect antenna cables.

2. Establish the top panel of furnish of a door of a luggage space. Fasten the clamps.
