Tire pressure warning module (Discovery 3)

Removing

NOTE: If the tire pressure monitoring module is replaced, the T4 must be connected and the necessary procedures performed before the battery is disconnected.

1. Disconnect a wire of weight from the accumulator. For more information refer to Specification.

2. Remove the left upper pillar trim panel "A". For more information refer to 'A' Pillar Trim Panel (76.13.26)

3. Remove the left upper pillar trim panel "IN". For more information, refer to Top Trim Panel (76.13.28)

4. Remove the left upper pillar trim panel "WITH". For more information, refer to Top Trim Panel (76.13.35)

5. Remove the left sun visor.

• Remove the cover.
• Remove two screws.
• Disconnect the electrical connector.

6. Remove the sun visor retainer.

• Remove the screw cover.
• Remove the screw.

7. Remove the left handrails for the passenger.

• Carefully release the 6 screw covers.
• Remove 6 screws.

8. Release a headlining from the left side. Release 6 clips.



9. Remove the tire pressure monitoring module.

• Disconnect the two electrical connectors.
• Turn out two bolts.

Installation

1. Install the tire pressure monitoring module.

• Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm.
• Connect electrical connectors.

2. Attach the headlining on the left side. Secure with clips carefully.

3. Install the left handrails for the passenger.

• Remove the screws.
• Install the screw covers.

4. Install the sun visor mounting clip.

• Screw in the screw.
• Install the screw cover.

5. Install the left sun visor.

• Remove the screws.
• Install the screw covers.
• Connect the electrical connector.

6. Install the left upper pillar trim panel "WITH". For more information, refer to Top Trim Panel (76.13.35)

7. Install the left upper pillar trim panel "B". For more information, refer to Top Trim Panel (76.13.28)

8. Install the left upper pillar trim panel "A". For more information refer to 'A' Pillar Trim Panel (76.13.26)

9. Connect a wire of weight to the accumulator. For more information refer to Specification.
