Cabin temperature sensor (Discovery 3)

Removing

1. Fully extend the steering column for easy access.

2. Remove the control panel access panel. Release 2 clips.



3. Remove the upper casing of the steering column. Release 6 clips.



4. Remove the bottom casing of a steering column.

• Remove the 3 Tox screws.
• Loosen the steering column adjustment lever.

5. Remove the lateral facing panel of a steering column.

• Release the clamps.
• Repeat the above procedure on the other side.

6. Remove the protective panel of a steering column.

• Remove the 2 Tox screws.
• Release 2 clips.

7. Remove the temperature sensor inside the car.

• Release 2 clips.
• Disconnect the electrical connector.
• Disconnect the hose.

Installation

1. Install the temperature sensor in the car interior.

• Connect the hose.
• Connect the electrical connector.
• Engage clamps.

2. Establish the protective panel of a steering column.

• Engage clamps.
• Tighten the Tox cap screws.

3. Establish lateral facing panels of a steering column. Engage clamps.

4. Establish casings of a steering column.

5. Install the control panel access panel.
