Shelf for battery installation (Discovery 3)

Removing

1. Remove the battery. For more information refer to Battery (86.15.01)

2. Remove the top heat-shielding screen of a motor compartment.

• Remove the screw.
• Release 2 clips.

3. Remove the side wall of the battery compartment.

• Release the positive battery cable and grommet.
• Release 4 clips.

4. Release the heater pipes. Remove the fixing screw.



5. Remove the battery tray. Loosen the 3 fastening nuts.

Installation

1. When installing, repeat the removal procedure in reverse order. Tighten nuts (tightening torque 12 Nm).
