Review
The steering column includes the upper part of the steering column assembly, the intermediate shaft and the lower telescopic shaft. These three nodes are rigidly connected to each other and transmit and convert the rotation of the steering wheel into a linear movement of the rack.
The upper part of the steering column assembly is adjustable in inclination and in the longitudinal position. In addition, the ignition lock, ignition lock cylinder, steering lock mechanism and steering wheel angle sensor are attached to it. The steering column is adjusted either manually or electrically, depending on the version of the steering column installed.
