Ignition switch (Discovery 3)

Removing

1. For better access, pull the steering column fully forward.

2. Remove the upper casing of the steering column. Release 4 clamps.



3. Remove the lower casing of a steering column.

• Remove 3 Torx head screws.
• Loosen the steering column adjustment lever.

ATTENTION: Before dismantling the ignition lock, the ignition key must be removed from it.

Remove the ignition switch.

• Disconnect the electrical connector.
• Press out 2 clips.

Installation

1. Install the ignition switch.

• Fasten with clips.
• Connect the electrical connector.

2. Install the steering column covers.

• Tighten the Torx screws.
• Fasten the clamps.
• Fasten the adjusting lever.
